Sinds 2005 zet de Rotterdamse stichting Artinfuse zich in om kunstenaars in de brede zin des woords te ondersteunen bij de realisatie van hun projecten. Dit doet zij door hen behulpzaam te zijn bij het verwerven van financiële middelen, door hen te adviseren over procedurele zaken en door te fungeren als een klankbord en denktank. Inmiddels zijn er onder auspiciën van Artinfuse meerdere projecten tot stand gekomen, variërend van kunstroutes en sociaal-culturele projecten op buurtniveau tot internationale uitwisselingsprojecten.

Ook voor HemelOpAarde wil Artinfuse zich beijveren; niet alleen omdat de stichting gelooft in de artistieke kwaliteit ervan, maar ook omdat Rotterdam als stad straks verfraaid wordt met een uniek kunstwerk. Deze visie wordt gedeeld door de leden van het Comité van Aanbeveling van HemelOpAarde: een groep betrokken mensen, met kennis van zaken en met gevoel voor schoonheid en betekenis, die het project een warm hart toedragen.

Artinfuse gelooft in de kracht van kunst en cultuur als middel om mensen met elkaar in contact te laten komen, om positieve energie op te wekken en om een structurele bijdrage te kunnen leveren aan een duurzame toekomst. Het project HemelOpAarde van Alexander Wechgelaar en Barbara Jean is een uitgesproken voorbeeld van deze ambitie.

Since 2005 the Rotterdam Foundation Artinfuse dedicates itself to supporting artists in the broadest sense of the word with the realization of their projects. This is done by assisting in the acquisition of financial means, by giving them advice about procedural affairs and functioning as a sounding-board and think-tank. Meanwhile several projects under the auspices of Artinfuse have been realized, varying from art-routes and social-cultural projects on the neighborhood level to international exchange programs.

Artinfuse is also zealous for HeavenOnEarth: not only because the foundation believes in the artistic quality of the project, but also because in the future Rotterdam as a city would be beautified with a unique work of art. This vision is also shared by the members of the Committee of Recommendation of HeavenOnEarth: a group of engaged people, with full knowledge and with feeling for beauty and meaning, who hold this project in high esteem and whole-heartedly recommend it.

Artinfuse believes in the strength of art and culture as a means of bringing people in contact with one another, to evoke positive energy and to provide a structural contribution for a sustainable future. The project HeavenOnEarth by Alexander Wechgelaar and Barbara Jean is clearly an avowed example of this ambition.
